Those that know me understand that I very much believe in Laws of Attraction within the Universe. I work with these principles daily to create that which I desire. I have even written my first book called Journey to Now, about just how I changed my life using these, and provide a basic guideline for those who may wish to create change within their own lives. Notice I said “basic” guideline.

The steps are for those who are trying this for the first time and have no idea how to get started. Or for those who are still new at applying the principles and need reminders, refreshers, or tweeks. However, basic changes will  definitely arise from applying at least a few.

For those that have been at this a bit longer, you may have noticed some subtleties that not only affect your outcome, but also the time it takes to manifest the changes. As the title suggests, working with a partner can have positive and negative outcomes.

When both people are truly aligned to the goal of the desire, feel positive about it, are good with how it will change their life, and what that change encompasses, the doubled emotion, visualization, and positive belief can indeed create tremendous outcomes.

However, if only one person has a deep desire or vision for that new outcome, and the other has doubts of any sort, for any reason, the belief at a subconscious level just isn’t there, then the whole vision can be thwarted. Their disbelief or uncertainty can hinder the other’s desired outcome.

When two people are deeply connected, (as soul mates, or even more-soul matches) there similar and coordinating frequencies work for each other. ( It’s kind of like when two still beating hearts are placed next to each other in a lab, they begin to beat in sync. That’s as scientific as you are going to get from me.)

While you can research scientific explanations, physics, electromagnetic fields, (heck look up Greg Braden’s work); my observations on how this works are from personal experience. Let me give you one example.

A few years back, my husband and I fell in love with a large, beautiful house we found on the internet. Together we visualized our whole family living in it. We daydreamed about walking through the rooms, sitting at the pool, and sharing the space with friends as well. We worked with this daily. Yet we also knew the reality of the high rent, but did not let that get in the way of what we wanted and felt. And we allowed for outside possibilities to help us achieve our goal of living in the house. Well guess what, the owners met us, loved us, and lowered the price just to have us in that house!

During those two years, I got my book completed, but Kevin had an hour added to his work day in driving…and he drives as part of his job as tour guide. Tours were lessened as well. Expenses for utilities were also higher than we anticipated, and we were not in Sedona. When the owners let us know they were selling, there were no homes readily available back in Sedona. Kevin did not want to spend alot of money, nor time in travel. So as of this moment we are in what I like to call our weigh station home. Kevin loves it. While we have wonderful mountain views, it’s old, tiny, not at all attractive. But it’s where Kevin’s needs, wants, fears and unsurity put us. And of course, I fell into similar emotion.

We have not been in sync with the idea for our next home. I have accepted this place as a cute, loving refuge for now, and thank it as such, but am dreaming of our next big, beautiful abode. My partner’s energy indeed blocked what I have been putting out there. Recently he has come around with a renewed boost in his manifestation beliefs. With that has come extra funds, opportunities and possibilities. All of that plus the conscious manifesting that we can do so well, will soon fuel our united desire for our new home.

So for those who have a partner with whom they vibrate at similar frequencies …beware. Assess  what you each really want and believe, and readjust as necessary. Together you can be very powerful.

I am excited for the possibilities for all of us. While I have addressed only one manifesting  glitch, there are a few more. Not to worry, my next book will cover those!

What is Reiki?

What is Reiki? I am asked this alot, even though I presume everyone has heard of it. That is how commonplace it has become to me. Utilizing Reiki energy is a way of life for me. I Reiki myself every day. I send Reiki to family and friends, even those I do not know, for healing. The healing doesn’t have to be physical. It can be on any level including psychological, emotional, situational.

It’s traditional explanation has been: Reiki is an ancient Tibetan form of hands-on-healing that originated between 2,500-3,000 years ago. It was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui, a monk from Kyoto, Japan. Dr. Usui developed the modern system and in the 1920s he passed this information on to Dr. Hayashi, who in turn trained a woman by the name of Hawayo Takata. It was Madam Takata who brought Reiki to the United States in the 1940s.

Reiki works on “ki” or “chi” energy that naturally flows through the body channels and Chakkra system. (Similar to acupuncture meridians.) It reinforces that flow in “blocked areas”. It addresses the whole person and works with the bodies own abilitiy to heal.

I personally have witnessed Reiki’s gentle and subtle power in myself , my students and clients. Over the past 10-15 years many a research study has been conducted on Reiki’s effects. I was actually part of one myself. Reiki is available as an alternative healing option in many a hospital around the country.

If you are on a quest for a  healthier life, stress reduction, or balance in general, definately check Reiki out. I am available here in Tucson or by phone. You can find me at It may just change your life….
